Fire safety

Thanks to our experience in water atomisation and flow technology, a dedicated section for fire department equipment has been developed in collaboration with the fire brigade. The area of use extends from all-out fire fighting, the setting up of water breaks for property protection and cooling, pressurised ventilation of buildings, through to the inclusion of chemicals. The combination of a powerful blower and a specially coordinated air pipe generates an optimal air flow despite the lower power consumption. A maximum 1020 l/min of water can be conveyed. Commercially available mixing valves can be used to mix wetting agent with the extinguishing water for the fighting of smouldering and glowing fires. Any consumer (heavy foam pipe, medium foam pipe, steel pipe, etc.) can additionally be used via the central, autonomously switchable water supply. Several options are offered in addition to the standard machine. Entire extinguishing systems comprising several machines and with central control can also be designed to suit our customers’ specific requirements.

Firefog® technology: smoke simulators for fire brigades

To be ideally prepared for the worst it is necessary to make the conditions as realistic as possible. With the mobile smoke machines from Firefog®, you can realistically reconstruct the fire smoke of a wide range of fire scenarios. The fire smoke simulators have been evaluated by many fire brigades in training and are being successfully used in ongoing training. The “clean” artificial smoke is non-flammable, tested for toxicity and complies with the health limits of MAK/TRGS 900.
