Curing process

Curing is a process in which an original, generally formulated substance with no or only partial dimensional stability is transformed into a solid and dimensionally stable state. Thus, for example, resin-bound substances such as friction linings and composites obtain their resistance to use from being pressed at high temperature, with subsequent heat treatment being able to improve the properties in this regard even further.
