Special-purpose machinery at IAG
passion put into practice - your individual solution
We build tailor-made special-purpose machinery for use worldwide. Our industry solutions are highly versatile to match the widely varying requirements of our global clients. We are committed to offering our clients nothing but technological excellence with our machinery and plant concepts. Our products win over our clients not only with their powerful performance and precision, but also with the low level of maintenance required and the long lifespan of over 20 years. Even machines that were built during IAG’s beginnings are still working flawlessly today, and have stood out for 30 years now thanks to their good availability. This is undoubtedly thanks to the uncompromising attitude to quality and the promise to only deliver high-quality products. With IAG, there are no compromises due to cost reasons.
Our core competence lies in the development of automated assembly and production lines that are adapted to the individual needs of our customers. Automation is the preferred solution when it comes to increasing production, ensuring quality and expanding competitiveness. These projects often begin with a blank sheet of paper. We draw on our experiences from past projects and apply all of our know-how in a flexible manner, and supplement this with innovations in order to keep developing new machines and systems that fully satisfy the most demanding of customer-specific requirements.
IAG has over 30 years of experience in the manufacturing of presses. Our distinguishing feature is that we apply our decades of experience and innovative engineering to meet customer-specific needs for complex special-purpose machinery. Our core competences include:
- Hot presses
- Warm and cold presses
- Laboratory presses
- Powder presses
- BMC/SMC/DMC presses and composite presses
The presses are used for semi-metallic and metallic powders, organic and inorganic materials as well as various powder mixes (carbon fibre and glass fibre-reinforced plastics, powder mixes containing phenolic resin). All the presses that have ever left our premises have been constructed and built on the basis of individual customer wishes. Since the founding year of 1986, this equates to over 400 systems that have been delivered to our customers worldwide.
Weighing and dosing technology
IAG weighing & dosing systems are often an integral part of our special-purpose machinery. In the start-up phase of customer-specific projects, sample weighings and preliminary tests are carried out to check the dosage, material handling and/or the distribution of the material.
Industrial oven technology
Our ovens have several heating and cooling zones that can be individually operated in a narrow temperature tolerance band. These are realised either as horizontal conveyor ovens or as paternoster models for tight spaces. Depending on the customer’s needs, our curing ovens are either linked to a production line, e.g. fully interlinked with a friction lining press for the production of brake linings, or they are also available as stand-alone systems.
