IAG veranstaltet internationales Treffen des Projekts HEROES

🔋IAG hosts international hybrid project meeting HEROES On September 12, 2025, 

#IAG had the pleasure of hosting the annual meeting of the international research project #HEROES (Hydrogen Conversion Enhancement for PEMFC through Innovative Design in Materials and Membrane-Electrode-Assembly). 

Together with Stefan Gruber, Johannes Pötscher and Erwin Papst, IAG welcomed part of the project team on-site in Weikersdorf, while other members joined remotely. 

The project consortium includes 
🔹 AIT Austrian Institute of Technology – Rachmat Adhi Wibowo & Tobias-Maximilian Berger 
🔹 Korea Institute of Energy Research (KIER) – Gu-Gon Park & Yongmin Kwon 
🔹 Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour – Laurent Billon & Sandra Castanié (joining hybrid) 

At the Technikum – IAG’s laboratory for the production of ultra-thin graphite bipolar plates – current research progress was presented and practical insights into process development were shared. The direct exchange of know-how and intensive discussions made this meeting an important milestone within the project. 

🤝 This meeting was more than just a status update: it shows how valuable international collaboration is for advancing innovative PEM fuel cell technologies.
