Lightweight construction

The goal of lightweight construction is to fulfil all imposed requirements while saving the most weight possible. The reasons for lightweight construction can be ecological, economic or technical in nature. The intended use of raw materials and energy, the cost-intensive production effort or weight limits can therefore be decisive.
