Resin Transfer Moulding

Resin Transfer Moulding is a process for the manufacture of composite materials. First of all, ready-cut, unimpregnated, mostly preformed fibre scrims or fibre meshes, so-called “preforms”, are laid in a tool. After the tool is closed, the resin is injected, which impregnates the fibres with resin. The parts harden in the tool under increased temperature and holding pressure.
