The company YASKAWA offers decades of experience in welding applications through MOTOMAN. There has been a cooperation with the IAG for many years.

The scope of delivery of YASKAWA / Motoman includes special welding robots, high-quality positioners and portal systems based on modern, customer-specific solutions. The integrated hose package through the upper arm and the head axes should be mentioned here, which ensures advantages in better accessibility in the devices, but also extends the durability of the hose packages.
Exemplary project sequence:

1. The customer contacts us with a specific welding task. After an initial project screening and clarification of basic questions, we agree on the next steps of a joint concept development.
2. Concept workshop with breakdown of the customer production process into sub-steps; Presentation of the problematic process steps with regard to handling and quality criteria of the product; Concept creation of an automation solution by IAG including simulation of the process steps
3. The following topics are clarified via preliminary tests at the IAG or welding system manufacturers:

5. Practical testing of the welding position (or the welding device)

Development of a concrete system concept with specification of the requirements for the automation solution, project plan and submission of offers up to the conclusion of the contract.

In the next step, the system is designed, built in the IAG factory and tested for weeks. The system is only dismantled and reassembled at the customer's facility after a contractually agreed trial production at our factory, ensuring that all requirements according to the specification / functional specification have been met. Careful planning and strict production and final controls - even after installation at the customer - ensure the high quality of our systems.
