Automation

On the one hand, the term automation describes the work process of automation as well as its outcome. Thus automated processes run largely without the direct intervention of people. These processes are controlled by computer, with people usually performing only monitoring activities. Automation solutions are developed primarily to replace originally manual processes. Greater productivity can be achieved, the product quality increased, and people relieved as providers of labour.
