Fuel Cell Flow Plates
A flow plate or bipolar plate is an important component of a fuel cell that is used to convert chemical energy into electrical energy. A flow plate is a plate that regulates the flow of gases, such as hydrogen and oxygen, through the fuel cell. It ensures that the gases flow evenly through the cell, thus ensuring efficient power generation. A bipolar plate serves as an electrical conductor while simultaneously separating the two gases that react in the fuel cell. It prevents the gases from coming into contact with each other before completing their reaction, thus ensuring safe and efficient power production.
IAG and its partners are collaborating to create solutions that will allow mass production of x million pieces in the future. The development projects involve working closely with customers to develop the final solution using development tools and a variety of material options. The ultimate goal is to deliver a machine capable of mass production.
