A press line is a highly automated manufacturing system for producing various products. It is used in various industrial fields such as automotive industry, metal processing and plastic industry. A press line consists of multiple coordinated presses placed one behind the other to carry out the various steps of the pressing process. An important part of the press line is for example the hot press.
Hot presses in press lines are often combined with feeding systems, conveyor belts, tool changers and quality control systems. These components enable continuous and efficient production. Fully automatic press lines enable high production speeds, precise control of process parameters, and improved quality of manufactured products.
Using a press line has many advantages. On the other hand, since it can operate continuously and produce many products in a short time, it enables efficient mass production. On the other hand, it is highly accurate and reproducible, resulting in a consistently high quality of the parts produced. IAG is a specialist machine builder and builds its own press lines.
